Hiking and cycling trails:
The mountain bike trails accommodate all levels from Competition style, Intermediate to Novice. Road-bikers and hybrid-cyclists are also very welcome to come and exercise on the more than 10 km of tarred roads on our site. All the routes start at the Voortrekker Monument parking area, where you can safely park your vehicle before taking a trail.
Home to a rich diversity of indigenous plant and animal life, this is a nature lovers' paradise where you are most likely to encounter zebra and other game species at each turn. While soaking up the history of the Voortrekker Monument and Fort Schanskop, you will be confronted with technical single-track paths with steep up-hills and tricky descents.
